Listening to this article outlined the significant impact of segregation, integration, and desegregation on communities. I loved how in this article audio clips were almost interactive. Like when you were listening to one, there would be tasteful and poignant narration over top of it, almost like a storybook character was talking to you. I think we included that is unique to the podcast style of journalism is the transitions between topics. Our group members tried to cue the next person with the next segment, integrating our own recordings and making the process seamless for the listener. This podcast episode had lots of research elements, but was integrated very well and wasn’t dry. They included interviews which can give any podcast a more personal tone. Also the journalist doing the podcast has a lot of credibility and therefore is a viable source of information.
